I cannot WAIT for this video to premiere!! The pictures from Rihanna’s upcoming video for Rude Boy look amazing – is that long weave I see again – love it! And her makeup is ridiculous! Look at her in the yellow in black pants.

I could definitely do a post on clothes at the Grammy’s, BUT this is my makeup blog so I’m sticking to makeup. Take a look at some of my favorite looks.

Keri took the cake - her skin is just amazing. Love Rihanna’s lashes!! J-Lo rocked the smokey eye & Thorton was bronzed out from head to toe. Gaga looked like a doll…literally. She kills it EVERY time! Ciara rocked the natural look – I thought it was perfect. Mya’s face was flawless. Taylor took the subtle route too.

Gorgeous! Overall I was impressed.

Meagan’s last name definitely describes her in this photo shoot! Meagan Good did a photo shoot for Krave Magazine (never heard of them before) with stylist Mr. Bradshaw. I absolutly love the glasses & statement necklace, but what I noticed more was her

Leona Lewis‘ album cover for he 4th album Echo has been released. I know there’s lot of work that goes into making her look this flawless, but it starts with skin & makeup. I love the bronze effect going on & again with the dark red lips… this is obviously a trend. & one I love!!

Kerry Washington showed up to the Toronto Film Fest the other day. I always go back & forth with Kerry because sometimes she just looks SO different…but she hit the nail on the head here…& I’m also usually not a fan of matching any makeup to what you’re wearing but Kerry’s pink coral cheeks match her dress & she looks AMAZING!

My Baachan (grandmother in Japanese) was the happiest individual in the world & she was a go-getter & a fighter to say the least.

I miss her more than words can explain. She shined up some of her old jewelry for me this summer when she visited me in NYC & I’ve worn it since then. Everyday. I have a tattoo of her last name, Miya, on my back. She sent me the Japanese character for our name my freshman year, not knowing I was about to turn it into a tattoo…I know she secretly liked it when she saw it though.

I wanted to make a collage about her (and yes that’s me in the green dress & matching hat) & felt it was appropriate to make a post about her. She encouraged me to do what I loved & just got a new computer & always reported back when she would check out my blog…but kept reminding me I was in school & to always remember that…I remember Baachan.

She wrote me a letter about a week ago and the last line said “I see you on your blog (You’re the most beautiful face of all!)”

RIP Baachan. I love you.
